The faculty and staff at Thomas Jefferson are highly qualified, passionate individuals who connect with their students on many levels. They devote their efforts to providing the best opportunities for success not only in school, but also in life. In the early years, our curriculum emphasizes confidence building and the development of learning skills and good study habits. Middle School students navigate the transition from childhood to adolescence, while learning the critical-thinking and problem-solving skills they will need for high school. As graduation approaches in the high school years, our faculty and staff play an integral role in your child’s college placement.
Thomas Jefferson is a merit-based environment that values academic excellence and celebrates achievement. Our philosophy is to challenge students by teaching to the limits of each student’s ability, not to the average ability level of the entire class. We keep our class sizes small to give our faculty the opportunity to teach using this philosophy — with more one-on-one attention and mentoring. As a result, students are able to learn at their own pace. Because we are an independent school, our faculty is comprised of individuals who are experts in the subjects they teach. |
