Math Competitions


Thomas Jefferson Upper School students compete in dozens of math competitions during the school year. The contests include NEO Math Day in Miami, Okla., the Ozark 7 Math and Science Competition, the Pummill Math Relays in Springfield, and the Pittsburg State University Math Relays in Pittsburg,  Kan. Lower School and Middle School students also compete in several math competitions including MathCounts, MCTM Elementary Mathematics Regional Contest, SBU Math Contest, and others.
