The company has delighted audiences around the world with its magical performances, and you do not want to miss its third visit to the TJ Concert Hall. The professional and creative performers from Midwest Regional Ballet bring the story of Alice in Wonderland to the TJ stage - steampunk style - for what promises to be an unforgettable telling of this classic tale. The performance will feature aerial acrobatics and some of the most talented ballet dancers in the region.
GALA CONCERT: h2 QUARTET with TJ’s ORCHESTRA & CHOIR

The award-winning h2 quartet has been wowing audiences since 2002. h2 takes advantage of the great expressive capacity of their instruments by programming traditional, avant-garde, minimalist, and jazz-influenced works in surprising and compelling ways. h2 has performed throughout the United States, in Europe, the UK and in Asia, and has released five critically-acclaimed recordings. TJ’s Upper School orchestra and the Upper School Vocal Ensemble will perform with h2 for this concert.

MY FATHER’S DRAGON

Based on the beloved stories by Ruth Stiles Gannett, My Father’s Dragon brings to life the Newbery Honor-winning classic about a daring dragon rescue. Using large format puppets, inventive scenic effects and original music, Enchantment Theatre Company is delighted to bring the story of a compassionate and courageous young boy and his unlikely friendship to the stage at TJ.

Tonic Sol-fa has established itself as one of the most successful independent acts in America. In addition to substantial CD sales of its own independent releases (2,000,000 copies sold), the group has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad, building its fan base with a steady stream of festivals and private shows that eventually led to numerous sold-out tours of theaters and small arenas. This will be the group’s second visit to the stage at TJ.
SPANISH BRASS with TJ’s ORCHESTRA
Tuesday, April 3 at 7 p.m.
Spanish Brass earned the I Bankia Music Talent Award in Spain this year, and was named the most influential musical artists on the country. When the group won First Prize in the Narbonne (France) International Brass Quintet Competition, reknowned trumpeter Bernard Soustrot said, “Of all the First Prize winners of the Narbonne Competition, the Spanish Brass is the best since the competition was founded in 1986. Spanish Brass has given hundreds of concerts across the globe, in such prestigious events and venues as the Great American Brass Band Festival, New York Brass Conference, Juilliard School of Music, Ithaca College, Festival de Musique de Radio-France, and scores of others. TJ’s Upper School orchestra will perform with Spanish Brass for this concert.
