Thomas Jefferson has developed a tradition of academic excellence, fine arts achievements, and athletic accomplishments, but the success of the program depends on the financial support from parents, grandparents, graduates, alumni parents, and friends of the school.
The School relies on tuition and gifts to meet its expenses to keep these TJ traditions going. Tuition alone comprises only 80 percent of the School's operating budget. TJ's operating budget depends upon philanthropy to bridge the gap between tuition and the real cost of educating students.
