TJ STUDENTS OUTPERFORM AT OZARK 7 CONFERENCE MATH & SCIENCE CONTEST post thumbnail image

Congratulations to the Middle and Upper School students who earned awards in the MSHSAA Ozark 7 Conference Math and Science Contest in Monett yesterday. Ozark 7 Conference schools include TJ, McAuley Catholic, College Heights Christian, Exeter, Golden City, Verona, and Wheaton. TJ students performed exceptionally well, earning medals in several of the math and science events. In 9 of the 15 events, TJ students earned 1st Place, and in 14 of the 15 events, TJ students earned one of the top three places.

Individual Math Awards:
Advanced Math: 1st – Place Jane Min; 4th Place – Owen D’Amour
Algebra II: 1st Place – Nico Carlson; 3rd Place – Tyler Brouhard
Geometry: 3rd Place – Josh Wynne-Hudson
8th Grade math: 1st Place – Jack Tyrrell; 2nd – Place – Zoe Zimmer
Algebra I: 3rd Place – Thomas Harrold; 5th Place – Kennah Scheurich
Team Math Awards:
Junior High Math Team: 1st Place — Jack Tyrrell, Zoe Zimmer, Thomas Harrold, and Kennah Scheurich
High School Math Team: 1st Place — Owen D’Amour, Johanna Jeyaraj, Sydney Stamps, and Ian Ding
