A native of Barranquilla, Colombia, Gelmis Cole brings decades of experience teaching Spanish from middle school through the college level. Before coming to TJ in 1998, Mrs. Cole taught at Labette Community College for two years and also at Parsons High School for two years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Pittsburg State University.
