Sam Jack is a native of Kansas, and before coming to TJ in 2017, he taught math for 10 years at Labette Community College and Labette County High School. He attended Missouri Southern State University and earned a B.S. in Math as well as a M.S. in Math from Emporia State University. His graduate seminar combined his love of statistics, operations research, and baseball to explore the “Sports Scheduling Problem.” Sam also enjoys playing board games and teaches the Middle School strategic games elective.
