Mrs. Myers is the TJ Librarian, and Middle School tennis coach. She earned her B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood from Missouri Southern State University.  She also played on the MSSU women’s tennis team for four years.  She taught Kindergarten in the Joplin School District for 4 years, and then in the Webb City School District for 10 years.  For the past 25 years, she has worked with young children and their families in some capacity – whether it was at a daycare center, Parents as Teachers, serving at church, or in the classroom.  She is married to Coach Chris Myers, and they have two boys who have attended TJ for several years.
