TJ’s Vibrant Theatrical Performance and Drama Program
At Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School, we believe the performing arts are crucial to your child’s overall liberal arts education. That is why we offer abundant opportunities for your child to be active in Theatrical Performance and Drama throughout their years at TJ.
From increasing confidence to helping your child to think creatively, participating in Theatrical Performance and Drama improves your child’s academic performance. At every grade level, children participate in several concerts each year. Lower School students produce a summer musical, and Middle and Upper School students produce spring and fall musicals. Middle School students also have the opportunity to participate in dramatic performance as an elective class.
