TJ’s Warm and Welcoming Community

Thomas Jefferson is committed to providing a welcoming and nurturing environment — one where children thrive academically, personally, and socially. We’re serious about learning, but we’re also serious about providing opportunities for fun — from social events and dances, to school assemblies and landmark trips in each division.

Students at TJ benefit from a school community rich in history and tradition. From committing to our Honor Code on the first day of school to cheering on the Cavaliers at the Homecoming Pep Rally, all students become immersed in the culture of our mission-driven school community.

As a parent or family member, you are also an integral part of the TJ community. We invite you to take an active role in your child’s education by getting involved at TJ through the Parent Association, Athletic Boosters, or volunteering in other ways. We also invite you to join us for lunch at TJ.

Inside and outside of the classroom, your child develops bonds that last a lifetime with classmates, teachers, and the TJ staff.
