Learning Skills for On and Off the Court
From making quick and strategic decisions to owning and accepting mistakes, Middle and Upper School Volleyball players at Thomas Jefferson learn lessons they can apply on and off the court.
By playing Volleyball, students learn how to work hard, be part of a team, communicate, and persevere. They also learn what it takes to demonstrate good sportsmanship, including winning and losing with grace.
Athletes do not need previous experience to play Volleyball at TJ. Our inclusive program allows all students to test new capacities and discover new talents without fear of being cut from the team.
Experienced and gifted volleyball players also have opportunities to thrive in our highly competitive program. Over the years, TJ has won conference and district championships and has placed at the state tournament. Our program also has produced two All-State athletes.
