Swimmers Develop Skills for Life

The Swimming program at Thomas Jefferson provides a unique athletic outlet for Upper School boys and girls. TJ swimmers learn the value of hard work, team work, and perseverance while gaining skills in an activity that can last a lifetime.

By participating in Swimming, students learn good sportsmanship, including how to be gracious in winning and in losing. As part of the Swimming team, students experience the joy of both individual achievement and team success.

No previous experience is required to join the Swimming team. TJ’s inclusive program allows all students to test new capacities and discover new talents without being cut from the team.
