Registration is now open for the Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School (TJIDS)  2024 Summer Discovery Academy. All Pre-K through 12th-grade students in the four-state area are invited to participate in the two-month summer enrichment program.

Summer Discovery Academy offers a wide range of summer enrichment opportunities beginning on Tuesday, June 11, and running through Thursday, July 25. You do not have to be a currently enrolled student at TJIDS to participate in Summer Discovery Academy.

The Summer Discovery Academy provides area students with opportunities to explore various topics in-depth, further develop interests and passions, and make new friends in an academically enriching environment.

Courses offered include applied programming & robotics, creative writing, ACT prep, foreign language, math camp, a middle school study skills course, weights and conditioning, performing arts, and more.

All the enrichment classes offered during Summer Discovery Academy are half-day, 9 a.m. to noon or 1-4 p.m., and have a $175 tuition, with the exception of two courses, Showtime Musical Camp and ACT Prep.

Showtime Musical Camp, $350, and ACT Prep,$500, are all-day classes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuition for all enrichment classes is due upon registration. Please check the times and courses carefully when registering.
