Laura McDonald has served on the TJ faculty since 1997, and has served as the Head of School since 2009. She has taught math and science across all divisions of the school, earning the Golden Apple Award for excellence in Middle School teaching. She has also served as the College Counselor since 2009. Laura earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental studies from Kenyon College, and a Master’s degree in education from Missouri State University. She is a graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon School, a large independent school in Massachusetts, and she is also a TJ alumni parent.
