Zina Lewis teaches Middle and Upper School Latin.  She combines her passion for the subject with her creativity to make Latin come alive for students in many activities throughout the year, including Saturnalia and Ides of March celebrations, Latin Harry Potter Duels, and much more.  Zina, who started at TJ in 2005, also works to provide different types of opportunities to students to express their own creativity in academic and non-academic settings.  Zina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Monmouth College.  She also holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa, where she taught Latin and Classical Mythology as a graduate teaching assistant.
