ESCAPADE: Party-Gras! was hosted at the beautiful 211 Building in Downtown Joplin on Saturday, March 8, 2025. We transported guests to the sights and sounds of Bourbon Street with live jazz music and cocktails. Guests can enjoyed a photobooth and a special silent auction. A plated dinner featuring New Orleans-inspired entrees prepared by Crabby’s Seafood Bar & Grill was served. The evening culminated into a live auction and DJ dance party as we raised funds to support the mission of Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School.

As a non-profit and independent school, Thomas Jefferson depends on private philanthropy to support approximately 25% of its annual operating budget. Escapade serves as bridge to the remaining critical funds TJ needs to continue to deliver an exceptional academic program for our students and families. In addition to general operating expenses, past Escapade events have helped us raise money for a new school bus, athletics upgrades, music materials, a staff professional development fund, and MORE!
